Background
The initial organization plan for this regional workshop has been postponed due to COVID 19 from March 18 to 20, 2020 in Senegal to be delivered online, in the form of a series of four webinars. Each webinar will be followed by a virtual process of sharing information and experiences, practical exercises as well as “clinical-NAP” periods.

The objectives of the online training workshop are:
Accelerate national adaptation planning processes in Francophone African LDCs, by providing practical support to national teams, highlighting emerging best practices and showcasing available tools;
To provide a platform for the exchange of experience and best practices acquired in the context of national adaptation planning in the region.
The training workshop will target French-speaking African LDCs, namely: Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Guinea, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal and Togo. Haiti will also be invited to join this workshop. The participants in this workshop are officials from the Ministries of Finance, Planning and Environment.
